This book is one of those books you read in-between very complex books just to give you head a little bit of break. Wow, that makes it sound really bad and it isn’t, I promise just simplistic. It’s just got nice characters and pretty backgrounds and a cute little read and a good first read of this author.

This book is your average book about two best friends (Reagan and Lilah) who go on a summer road trip. Both are nursing a broken heart but while Lilah is emotionally taken Reagan has found a guy (Matt Finch) who may just be perfect for her. Did i mention that Lilah is actually an international singing superstar and the road trip is actually a national tour and Matt Finch is the opening act and is famous for his boy band’s days? Drama entails.

The story line even though is quite predictable and easy was quite new to me, I haven’t read anything like this and everyone knows that I love a super-sweet-lovey-too-cute-to-be-real books. This one was so overly adorable it could beat my dog in cuteness (maybe…).

I don’t really want to talk about any of the characters because they were all very mainstream characters; Reagan: Bad girl who grew up on the wrong side of the tracks who really just wants someone to care. Lilah: The girl who everyone wants to be but is actually extremely sad inside and Matt: The boy your mother wants you to date, the dreamy McCutesy. You know the type.

So this book is just a cute contemporary story through in a few unpredictable moments and a cute little Matt Finch. You get a book where if you’ve got some free time just pick it up takes less then a day.
